What would it be like to explore end of life with peace, resolution and surrender?

One day, you might be a parent, teacher, professional, or esteemed lecturer, only to find yourself suddenly diagnosed with a terminal illness, a number in a hospital, with a non-descript hospital gown.  The world is spinning.  How do you make any sense of it?
